This Halloween, ATOMIC’s Custom Fabrication team ventured into the darkness to create an unforgettable experience for world-renowned DJ Alan Walker. Dubbed “Horror House,” this event transformed the iconic Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco into a sinister, gothic church.
Under the skilled eye of Designer Andreas Ohldieck of Filament, every element exuded an eerie charm, from the towering scenic columns and haunting windows to weathered plinths and a custom DJ desk — each piece built then hand-painted with care to bring this horror fantasy to life.
A Closer Look at the Details
ATOMIC’s scenic paint team added their touch to the set with a layered painting process that brought out the depth of the elements. Using traditional paintbrush techniques, they applied multiple layers of paint to create a realistic weathered look. Each brushstroke helped give the scenery a timeless, aged appearance. Photos captured during the process reveal the meticulous effort behind this transformation, highlighting the skill and dedication involved!



With Scott Lawson leading as tour manager and Joshua Mierly overseeing production, Alan Walker’s Horror House came to life in San Francisco, blending music and stunning scenery for an unforgettable night. The haunting design, paired with a chilling soundtrack, immersed guests in a gothic spectacle that left them breathless.
