iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina
Description
The iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina featured performances by many talented artists in the Latin music industry, with special tributes to the communities and first responders affected by natural disaster. Excited to work with the iHeartRadio Team yet again, designers Tom McPhillips and Charlie Cook hit the drawing board, creating one-of-a-kind scenic looks for this special show.
Inspired by the festival’s graphics package, McPhillips and Cook incorporated ornate designs into the look. Building off of the popular turn table wall that was used in theĀ iHeartRadio Music Festival, custom ornate scenic pieces were built and attached. Putting our CNC machine to work, swirl shapes were cut out then painted to resemble the ornate, animated looking swirls originally used in the design. Attaching them to the turn table wall created a “picture frame” look surrounding video tiles, making a big impact onstage.
Overall, it was another exciting show and wouldn’t have been possible without our all-star client and partners: iHeart Media, Dave Myers and Dan Pereze with DPS, Video Content Creator Anthony Wilson with VER, and the always-awesome Lighting Designer Tom Kenny and his class-a team of programmers!
