The ATOMIC Mission Give Committee worked hard to develop a program that would promote volunteerism in the community among ATOMIC employees. The result? The amazing (H)Ours to Give program. Since kick-off in July 2017, ATOMIC gave 107 paid hours to employees that volunteered their time. From helping in animal shelters to packing lunches for the 9-11 Day of Service, here’s a round-up of the amazing efforts from our team in 2017:

  • Brendon O’Donnell volunteered his time at the Lancaster ASPCA, working with the dogs at the facility.
  • Chad Thomas spent time cooking at Camp PARC, a camp designed for people with special needs.
  • Krista Lefever packed healthy meal care packages for families in need at Power Packs.
  • Dan Shovlin worked as a camp counselor at Camp Periwinkle, a camp for kids with cancer.
  • Brandon Putt spent time at the Opportunity House, helping homeless people.
  • Sarah Moore volunteered as a Literature Chair for the Alanon annual convention.
  • Kristi Eaton, Lauren Brignone, Taylor Jurrel and Andi Blady packed meals for disaster affected areas for the 9.11 Day of Service in New York.
  • Susie Vator collected and delivered goods for donation to the Community Aid and Water Street Rescue Mission.
  • Dee Yeaworth helped prepare for the Blob Fest, a fundraising event for the North Museum.
  • Rachel Wenger decorated for the holidays with residents at Brethren Village Retirement Community.
  • Nelson Loeb helped to decorate GT Church for the Holidays.
  • Laura Roberts helped care for kittens at the Pet Pantry.
