The Perelman PAC Opening Gala was a New York night to remember!
The center of attraction
Celebrating the highly anticipated grand opening of the Perelman Performing Arts Center, everyone from celebrities to politicians stepped out to bask in the glory. Its placement at the World Trade Center produced an emotional ceremony paying homage to 9/11 with its performances and creating a beacon of life with artistic song, dance, and poetry. Opening in the cultural hub of New York City ATOMIC was more than happy to contribute OUR culture by constructing all scenic elements used on stage.
Our Set Construction team worked diligently to build a transcendent scene that transformed the space at the Perelman PACs Opening Gala. The set consisted of:
- Decking with two automated wagons (provided by our partners at Creative Conners)
- Moving scenic panels
- A scenic portal
- Velour drape
- False proscenium
WHAT WE LOVED
The set and performances were both meaningful and mesmerizing, so we were thrilled to contribute our capabilities to the beauty of Performing Arts! ❤️ This inaugural event at Perelman PAC brought out TONS of famous faces to celebrate. Cynthia Erivo, Tariq Trotter, Whoopi Goldberg, and Amanda Gorman are just some of the star-studded faces that made the trip to celebrate the PAC. Their presence elevated the event and we’re honored and privileged to have our scenic elements share the stage with them.
