ATOMIC

The new WWE Smackdown set is looking shiny on tour. Team ATOMIC was pumped to build it this year! This touring event is televised on Friday nights and is commonly known as the “Friday Night SmackDown.”

Our scenic team was up for the challenge to construct eight rib units on stage that could integrate with the staging, lighting and pyrotechnics. These aluminum framed units include video tiles on the downstage sides and are skinned with custom lighting and neon. To top them off, pyro comes out of the top of each rib. Aside from the rib units, our team also worked with Screen Works to fly a custom hexagonal video tile backdrop and built scenic flats with LED neon and light fixtures that bolt together quickly to fly out.
