TIDAL X: BROOKLYN

Description

Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Brown were a few of the many A-listers to perform at the third annual charity concert, Tidal X: Brooklyn. Nearly 20,000 people packed into Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with ticket proceeds donated to multiple foundations for the relief of those affected by natural disasters Hurricane Harvey and Maria, as well as the earthquakes in Mexico. The event was broadcast live online, giving fans the opportunity to watch from home via Tidal’s streaming service by donating as little as $1.

A production like this with many different artists and lots of publicity calls for a stellar stage design. ATOMIC’s design team has provided design support for the past three years, assisting in tasks like illustration and animation, as well as determining factors like automation, lifts, thrusts and staging. Working with the ATOMIC Set Construction team, custom staging and masking walls were built to assist in a clean look, creating impact on the stunning stage amidst the vast venue.

Overall, our team’s love working together on such amazing charitable events like this. Many thanks to our client and partners: DPS and Lighting Designer Jesse Blevins.
