Description

It’s a long road to get to WrestleMania. For 12 weeks, some of the most well-known wrestlers battle on the Road to WrestleMania for the opportunity to compete at the main event. This year, team ATOMIC had the privilege to build the large sign that hung above the crowd.

Built out of metal, the 34′ wide logo sign weighed in at 3,700 pounds. Why 34′ wide? Each year, the sign is as wide as the number year (WrestleMania 34), leaving room for the sign to get a little larger each year. Utilizing the infamous fleur-de-lis as a symbol of the location to WrestleMania 34, the logo was accented with the 3D motif as the points wrapped towards the front of the sign. In addition to metal, large seamless panels of back printed polycarbonate and LED helped to finish the look. Making its first appearance at the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia, the sign took a nine week tour to multiple venues.

In all, we love working with the team at WWE and couldn’t have made this project possible without the help from our awesome client and partners: WWE, Designer Jason Robinson, Barry & Homer and IPG, Inc.
