It’s Hockeywood, baby! The National Hockey League All-Star weekend was filled with multiple festivities to celebrate its centennial year in the hip city of Los Angeles, and team ATOMIC was thrilled to be involved!
Our teams designed and built the scenic elements at The Staple Center for the weekend full of hockey. The first night consisted of the All-Star Skills Competitions, showcasing flown inverted truss with video tiles at the player entrance and a slick DJ ring at center ice where the infamous Snoop Dogg performed during the player introductions.
Moving forward to the main competition the following day, players once again entered in ATOMIC fashion through an entrance with WOW! factor. This entrance featured a star shape with a framed top star shape and star wings.
With viewership up 42% from 2016, it was a great feeling knowing that 2.28 million people had eyes on ATOMIC’s hard work. Special thanks to our client and partners: World Stage, 4Wall PA and All Access.
