iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2017
Description
The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour kicked off the holiday spirit in 11 cities this year, as well as for the many viewers tuning into the 90-minute special broadcast on The CW. Utilizing the set from the 2016 tour, ATOMIC Designers Tom McPhillips and Charlie Cook worked to give the set a fresh new look. Snowflakes built with video blades added holiday flair to the upstage wall, and video screen automation allowed for the main screen to split and half to reveal digital panels behind the center screen to create another great look. Debuting in the spirit of the holiday season, Rental Solutions’ FastWall Fir were strategically placed on stage right and left creating stunning backdrops for the host positions. In the audience, the brand guide was carried out onto the VIP railings with the iHeartRadio logo and snowflakes.
Aside from making things look stellar onstage, our design team also helped to create the backstage artist interview area, creating a festive “winter wonderland” vibe backstage.
Congrats to all involved on creating another beautiful touring set: iHeart Media, Lighting Designer Tom Kenny and his all-star team of programmers, the awesome team at VER, and TV Programmer Brent Sandrock.
