Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day
Description
As part of a kick-off for the U.S. Open, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day brings together tennis, children and entertainment to raise money for charity. Inspired by the New York subway system, ATOMIC Designer Taylor Jurell created a design for the stadium stage with a graphical “line” concept that helped to create more movement and excitement on the stage. Icons from the USTA were added throughout the design, and bright, bold colors shined on stage showcasing the brand-new sponsor, Net Generation. To achieve Jurell’s design, the ATOMIC Set Construction team got to work, sourcing large scale scrims, painting scenery and applying the new graphic treatments. Special thanks to Fiur Productions for including us in this spectacular event!
