2017 Academy of Country Music Awards
Description
The 2017 Academy of Country Music Awards was a night full of surprises. The Backstreet boys are back, 27-year-old Thomas Rhett won Male Vocalist of the year and Miranda Lambert crushed her performance of “Tin Man” and received a standing ovation. Before the festivities began, celebrities walked the red carpet in style, stopping to pose and chat in the center of team ATOMIC’s hard work.
The ATOMIC Design and Production Services teams worked hand-in-hand with the ACM team from the start to design and execute the scenery for the red carpet. Designer Andi Blady designed the layout of the red carpet, the wall along the carpet (which had a lot of press coverage!), the carpet itself, the entrance archway and the entire length of the carpet which included two Ford trucks. Production guru’s Lauren Brignone and Daniel Shovlin began working with the ACM team the summer prior to the event, coordinating their needs into Andi Blady’s design, and hiring and managing all of the vendors to execute Andi’s vision.
The ATOMIC Production Services team also had the pleasure of working with Dick Clark Productions to build a SuperWall consisting of our Rental Solutions’ Chadz and Custom Vinyl Panels for the T-Mobile Stage. This stage was rendered by our Rental Solutions’ Design team, managed by our Production Services team and then used for the Twitter Live Stream which viewers could watch live as well as throughout the following two days on Twitter.
ATOMIC was thrilled to return to the red carpet this year; we even got some fun celebrity style photos of our rockin’ team on the red carpet! Special thanks to our clients ACM and Dick Clark Productions and our partners and vendors: 4Wall, Dimitri Carpet, S&M Scenic and A&D Scenery.
